Waiting

I hate waiting so much. I’m so impatient.

Everything seems to be on hold right now – relationships, career, education… no movement, no growth, no change. Just stagnation. Bleh.

“While our natural inclination is to hate waiting, this period of uncertainty can actually be a time of great personal growth… Waiting is not incidental to faith. Waiting is the DNA of faith.”

And I really liked the verse, “Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it” (Habakkuk 1:5, NLT) Habakkuk is one of my favorite books. Time to go spend some time there, I guess.
